Cadwein Bacon - Bmus (hons), MISM

Cadwein Bacon is an experienced Oboist and Cor Anglais player, as well as a pianist and folk guitarist.  She was lucky enough to be selected at the age of 13 to join the County of Avon's school orchestra, and has taken numerous orchestral tours across America, Hungary and Germany as principal oboist.  Cadwein further graduated with honours as a first study oboist at the University of Wales, Cardiff.  Since then she has performed as principal oboist in the West Country, Jersey, Worthing, and most recently the Sussex Symphony Orchestra. Cadwein has over 20+ years teaching experience, both in small guitar groups and individual piano, guitar and oboe.  More recently Cadwein's love for piano has deepened, leading her to choose to widen her skill-set and train as a piano technician at the well-respected and exclusive Piano Technology School in Northampton, under the direction of Steve Droy.  Cadwein is now tuning pianos by appointment across Sussex, and able to bring joy through tune back into homes, schools, colleges, churches, and hotels.
